May 2024 snapshot from ACEVic

• ACEVic chaired State Steering committee for reaccreditation of the Certificate I in Employment Pathways

• Met with VAPN (Victorian ACE Policy Network)- ALA, ACEVic and NHVIC

• Quarterly meeting with ACE sector peck bodies and Victorian Skills Authority (VSA)- meeting focus on the upcoming release of the 2024 Vic Skills Plan and where the Learn local sector benefits learners, industry and further training

• Participated in the Victorian Skills Plan preparation webinar- Build the digital capacity of the Victorian workforce and re-design VET qualifications to better align with the needs of learners and industry. All feedback to go towards building the 2024 Victorian Skills Plan

• Met with ACFE Board Chair Teresa De Fazio and ACEVic Board chair Sally Brennan. Robust discussion about sector challenges and implications on the sectors sustainability of proposed changes to Pre-accredited processes and procedures.
